A 10 wingspan Stearman weighing 47 pounds with a 3W-120 twin. This is the initial test flight that I did for a good friend in 1996.

More or less what a falcon sees in the gorge. Camera system was an emergency backup, and as a result, the range and video quality were poor.

This is the end result of everything we could think of to soup up an OS Max .10 FP. This includes the addition of a turbo plug and the use of a standard, (for this engine) 7 X 4 black Tornado prop. The 16K top end, it must be remembered, is with a prop thats one size smaller than the prop used for the previous runs.
